RE: REQUEST FOR RE-PAROLE UNDER THE CENTRAL AMERICAN MINORS (CAM) PROGRAM
[Fee Enclosed] or [Fee Waiver Requested]
[Write one or the other, depending on whether you are paying the filing fee or seeking to have it waived.]
LAST NAME, FIRST NAME (A# XXX-XXX-XXX)
Dear USCIS Officer:
I write to request re-parole under the Central American Minors (CAM) Refugee and Parole Program. I was paroled into the United States on DATE. Since I arrived in the United States, I have been able to reunite with my family. [Provide a short explanation of the family members in the U.S. you have been reunited with (for example, my brother, my aunt, my cousin) and whether you live with them, live near them, or visit them.]
My parole period will expire / has expired on DATE. [If your CAM parole period already expired, provide a brief explanation of why you could not apply for CAM re-parole earlier, for example: (1) (If you entered the United States with CAM parole before August 2017) “I was not able to apply for CAM re-parole because at the time my parole period expired, the CAM parole program was terminated; (2) “I was not able to apply for CAM re-parole before my parole period expired because I was not aware that I was eligible to apply for CAM re-parole.”; or (3) “I was not able to apply for CAM re-parole before my parole period expired because I had trouble finding assistance with my CAM re-parole application.”]
Conditions in my home country of El Salvador/Guatemala/Honduras remain dangerous, and I am afraid to return. Therefore, I request CAM re-parole so that I can remain safely with my family in the United States.
Enclosed please find the the following materials attached in support of my CAM re-parole application:
- Filing fee of $575 OR Form I-912, Application for Fee Waiver with supporting evidence;
- Form I-131, Application for Travel Document;
- Declaration in Support of my CAM Re-parole Application;
- Copy of my identity documents and evidence of original CAM parole; and
- Form I-134, Declaration of Financial Support, with supporting financial documents.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
Sincerely,
NAME
